The Question we get asked a lot , can I take the car from Montenegro to another country for a few days?
Simple answer is YES!

Cross border travel is allowed by many of our suppliers. We have broken down each supplier what countries you are allowed to go to and the associated fees.

  • Cross-bordering is only allowed by request.
  • Crossing the border is NOT allowed into the following countries/areas:
  • Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, UK, Ukraine, Uzbekistan.
  • A Cross-Bordering Fee of €6.05 per day is applied. The maximum charge is €60.50 per rental.
  • Other cross-bordering restrictions and allowances may apply. Please enquire with the Supplier when picking up the vehicle.
  • Please note that not only international One-Way rentals qualify as cross-bordering – crossing the border into another country and back while returning the rental vehicle to the original pick-up location is also considered cross-bordering.

A written permission issued by the supplier’s branch is mandatory to cross the border. A cross border fee of EUR 40 will apply.

For travels abroad, additional charges may apply and are governed by the respective country of entry and must be requested at the local rental station.

In case of offence against Cross Border and Territorial Restrictions all protections lose their validity.

Cross border travel is allowed at a cost of EUR 25 per rental.
Cross border travel is not allowed to Kosovo.
